Time to Fire Up Dalton Kincaid in Fantasy?

The RotoRadar team is 48-23 (67.6%) through seven weeks of the 2023 NFL DFS season as we head into Week 8!

Two NBA games, eleven NHL games, and a cross-country matchup between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-3) and the Buffalo Bills (4-3) on Thursday Night Football, here are a few trends to get your night started:

5 Trends to Watch for Bucs @ Bills —

  • QB Josh Allen has 59 wins in his career. 45 of those 59 wins for the Bills have been by 7 points or more. The Buffalo Bills are currently 9.5-point home favorites vs. the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday Night (odds via BetOnline.ag).

  • After suffering back-to-back losses AT HOME where they struggled to score 20 total points in two weeks, the Tampa Bay Bucs now have to go travel north to play in Buffalo. Not only is this a tough travel spot on a short week, the temperature in Tampa (80 degrees) is very different than Thursday night in upper New York state (low 60s at game time with rain).

  • As a head coach, Bucs HC Todd Bowles struggles historically off of a straight up loss. His teams are 18-31 straight up and 18-29-2 ATS in this spot. The Tampa Bay Bucs under Bowles are 1-9-1 against the spread off of a team loss the previous week.

  • Despite coming into the 2023 season with an “on paper” fabulous defense, the Bills hobble into Week 8 with 4 defensive starters out, which has lead to things being increasingly leaky to opposing offenses. The Bills now give up the 16th-most fantasy points to QBs, 14th-least to RBs, 12th-least to WRs, 8th-most to TEs. While these numbers don’t seem to shabby, Buffalo was giving up the 5th-least or least to multiple positions through the first four weeks of the season.

  • With Dawson Knox down and out for the Bills for the forseeable future, we saw Rookie Dalton Kincaid shine in Week 7 vs. New England. Kincaid saw a season-high in targets (8), yards (75), fantasy performance (15.5 ppr points) and should be a TE1 in fantasy leagues moving forward. He is underpriced everywhere ahead of Week 8 TNF.
