Sharp Ramblings #3: NBA is BACK...It's Degen Time

Coming out of the darkness retreat like...

After the darkness retreat of no NFL or NBA last week (our attempt at a poor Aaron Rodgers joke), things are starting to heat back up again in the sports world! Thursday Night marks the start of the second half of the NBA season, College Basketball is nearing Conference Championship Tournament time, and the 2023 MLB Season is on the horizon! Let’s break down the upcoming week in the sports betting world:

The best bet tracking app on the market, Pikkit, is a great place for the beginner prop bettor to get their feet wet in the space. With their free bet-tracking technology, you can sync sportsbooks to make your life easier while also giving you a platform to post/see what player’s your friends are looking at targeting on any specific day. Below are some Pikkit Community tidbits regarding Thursday’s nightcap between the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers.

A whopping 76.7% of the money line bets are on the Lakers to beat the Warriors despite LeBron James tweaking his finger on the rim during Sunday’s All-Star game. Pikkit Community members are a bit more confident in the Golden State Warriors covering the 6.5 points on the road, where they have struggled mightily during the first half of the season (covering the spread on the road an abysmal 8/28 times - the worst in the league).

The most popular player props for the nightcap that have the most Pikkit community members backing involves Kevon Looney boards. Overs for LeBron James, and the infamous Jordan Poole Points/Points+Assists.

Our friends over at props.cash pride themselves on providing a data driven software that allows you to quickly analyze thousands of prop lines via phone, tablet, or computer. Traditional box scores are a thing of the past and are not optimal for researching player props. You can now get the rest of the NBA Season for just $69.99 (Code “RotoRadar” takes off their Monthly All Sports Package if you want to go that route)!

Brandon Ingram was on an absolute heater before the All-Star break, hitting his “Points” prop in five straight outings as notated by the graphic above. The Pelicans start the second half of the year as the No. 7 seed in the West (30-29) and find themselves in a tough road matchup against the Toronto Raptors in Canada. Ingram has missed this mark of 24.5 Points in his previous two games against the Raptors last season (Note: OG Anunoby is currently questionable for Toronto tonight after missing the last month with a wrist injury).

The RotoRadar Discord Community votes weekly on Wednesday nights to select which CS:GO players get boosted on Vivid Picks for Thursday slates! Here’s this week’s Community Play:
