The Guardians and Rangers both have an implied run total of 4.6 in a matchup that could be an offensive battle. Cleveland will take on youngster Jack Leiter, who has given up four and seven runs in his two starts this season. It seems as if his minor league stuff has just not transferred to the big leagues yet, as the collective strikeout rate sits at 14% and the damage given up is through the roof. Some of the best hitters against right-handed pitching in baseball sit on this Guardians team – it all starts with Josh Naylor and Jose Ramirez, who are Top 10 bats on this card. Will Brennan and Andres Gimenez are also fully in play here to complete the stack. Cleveland deserves to crack the top five in offense on Tuesday.

Rangers bats will see Ben Lively, who has not given up more than three runs in a single start yet in 2024. This could be a spot where the walk issues against lefties could surface (12%), as four left-handed hitters on Texas have a walk rate at 10% or higher. I personally am higher on the Cleveland side of things, but I don’t mind getting exposure to guys like Marcus Semien, who has everything you want to have coming into a matchup against right-handed pitching. Adolis Garcia is another righty that has a lower chance of striking out today against Lively, who is sitting at just 19% against that handedness.
